That car made the list of the cool modified 914s for sale from a few months ago. $45k is nuts, but I'm guessing he is fishing for a buyer who absolutely has to have that car and is wealthy. $35k or $45k doesn't mean much to someone in the 1%.

Love the color. As I clicked on it I was debating driving to phoenix tomorrow...but then I saw the price and what it ACTUALLY was, and that's about 1 zero more than I wanna spend on a 914

personal nitpicks:

coolant lines run under the car in "please don't hit a speed bump" fashion:

air cooled intercooler located in a place where there is zero airflow:

battery relocated to the middle of the only remaining trunk - the one that is supposed to hold the targa top:

still a cool car, but $45k can get you a cherry 993 or 996 twin-turbo.
